Making the decision to quit is easy when you feel the hopelessness of where it's brought you to in life. What's really hard is making that same decision day after day.
Mentally, I know that I shouldn't stim. But when you've been clean for a few days, that craving deep inside gets stronger and stronger, and you realize just how much of a grip this thing, which you used to tell yourself you had control over, has over you. So you drop another one or two just to mask the pain, and back onto the merry-go-round you go.
