it took a long fucking time to kick in, about 3 hours, but the conclusion is: fuck yeah you can abuse these!!!

pros:

1. the MPH never goes into your stomach. this is a pro for me, because i always combine recreational stims with caffeine, either a coffee or red bull. i don’t know if this applies to MPH too, but i know that acidic drinks can destroy adderall in your stomach before it kicks in, so it’s cool that i can drink as much coffee as i want without worrying about ruining my high.

2. long lasting: yeah, i’m definitely not sleeping tonight

cons:

1. uncomfortable

2. you have to apply the patches on your hip, so there’s a physical limit to how much you can “take”.

3. the adhesive on the patches is really weak, and gets even weaker when it comes into contact with moisture (aka sweat 😬). i literally had to tape the patches down with scotch tape so they wouldn’t fall off.

overall, pills are better, but as someone who lost the privilege of being able to have controlled substance pills a long time ago, i’m just happy to have some kind of stim prescription again.
