Post Body

I've always hated the stimulants I've taken for my ADHD. I've tried Focalin XR and Vyvanse. I'm on Focalin now, Vyvanse was worse. They seem to make my life miserable, but without them I cannot function academically in the slightest. The positive effects wear off fast, and the side effects last pretty much all day, even though I take very low dosages. Those side effects being an overall feeling of restlessness, irritability (especially once I start coming down), and eating and drinking being unpleasant with my appetite for both being practically removed. The positive effects are starting to deteriorate, I'm struggling in college, and I do not want to increase my dosage because of the side effects. What would you guys recommend? I want something that lasts a lot shorter so that I can just get my work done and enjoy the rest of the day. I'm considering options like IR Focalin, dexedrine, or adderall.
