I was reading about intranasal drug use, well I don't know if they were referring to drugs, but I was ;) & the "aerodynamic particle size greater than approximately 10 µm. Progression through the nasal cavity leads to the turbinate region. The turbinates are convoluted projections from the nasal septum which are lined with a pseudostratified columnar epithelium (80–90% of the total surface area of the nasal epithelium in man) composed of mucus-secreting goblet cells, ciliated and nonciliated cells and basal cells (Fig. 38.1).

Those little bastards. I'm fairly hairless, but I can't claim to know how much hair is going on up there threatening my precious drugs from reaching their target. So I'm very thankful to this day that years ago I bought an electric hair razor for inside my nose. This sucker's going up there and not a damn pseudostratified columnar epithelium is going to pass by its tracks ✿⁠ ⁠⁰⁠ ≧⁠∇⁠≦⁠ ⁰⁠ ⁠✿

Well just for you I decorated and posted a copy. It's pretty intriguing! So much so, that this is my second time around rating it after rediscovering it after years of being who knows where in my files.

Really gets the wheels really churning about what we can do to make this method of delivery powerful in ways that we will never nose. As of right now, I'm on my third nose transplant. Got one on my forehead, one in the middle, and one on my cheek. I think I might as well do the earlobes next since they already kind of look like half of a nose 😂
