Took average rec dose of vyvanse and felt very little. Do I have natural tolerance or is it something else?

I took 40mg after eating a decent sized meal because I heard the acids from foods help with the metabolization of vyvanse. I was experiencing very minimal effects that could be chalked up to placebo. I took 80mg more a couple hours later and that had a great effect. Kept dosing 80mg every time things started easing a bit to prolong the “peak” until I was at about 300mg total for the day. I was reading people saying it lasts 7 hours off one dose but by the 2nd to 3rd hour I be coming down. Also when researching doses I found people saying they would take 140 - 200 (not sure all together or split doses) and they start shaking and experiencing intense effects. I took way more than that and feel somewhat normal (no side effects like nausea, hallucinations, panic attacks/anxiety, etc). I made a couple posts in the subs discussing prescribed use but didn’t get any information that was particularly helpful for rec use. Any experience rec users that can explain why I have a dulled reaction to vyvanse? I don’t take any other stims and wasn’t on any other drugs when I dosed the vyvanse. Now that it’S the end of the day I’m starting to feel minor tingling in my cheeks and hands but other than that I feel great.
