Sleep deprivation and psychosis/ mania

Post Body

I know drug induced/exacerbated psychosis or mania typically happens when you stay up multiple nights in a row.

But can it happen when you are, say, getting 4 hours of sleep a night and taking high dose amphetamines in the daytime for a week?

TLDR: Could that residual sleep deprivation begin to bring about psychosis? Or is it limited to a period of staying up for a lot of hrs?

And is it a slow shift or do you immediately enter it without knowing ?
