Modafinal is nowhere near as potent as amphetamine. But it is used by the military in some countries in place of dexamphetamine.

In many countries, it's available to buy over the counter. But the US and other countries, with a lot of money to gain in big pharma, make it so difficult to obtain. It's usually easier for your doctor to prescribe you Adderall, Vyvanse or Ritalin than modafinal (some might know it as "Provigil", among other brand names).

It's been studied for the treatment of cocaine addiction.

I wonder if it can help me cut my Vyvanse problem so taking my prescribed dose become "easy".

I like the fact that moda doesn't give you the euphoria or "reward" you get from amphetamine. You can just get your shit done. I've no desire to take my Vyvanse today.
