I've heard stories in the past of people getting prescribed pretty crazy amounts of stimulants from their doctors i.e. far above the recommended maximum daily amount.
For example, the max for Vyvanse is 70 mg, but I've heard of people prescribed 90 mg , like some people going way over the amount.
What about you?
EDIT: I only used Vyvanse as an example, but I'm asking about your specific medication and dose/dosage, whether it's methylphenidate (and type, e.g. Concerta, Ritalin IR), amphetamine (Adderall IR, Vyvanse) or those who get Desoxyn (I would highly doubt a doctor's credentials if this was excessively prescribed haha)
