Why the hell do my legs end up covered in small cuts/sores after hitting the pipe?

I'm a "casual" user; use maybe once a month and have been maintaining this since 2019. I only do like a hg at a time too and don't stay up longer than 2 nights.
But every fucking time, I end up with all these cuts like I've been walking through bushes (haven't though).
