(ab)using adderall would obviously sometimes make my heart beat really fast and the other common symptoms that make people look up "how to tell if overdosing reddit" on google like light headedness and whatnot, but was getting tired of convincing myself I am going to die, laying down and waiting for it, then nothing happens.

Bought a blood pressure monitor so now whenever I start getting a little worried, before jumping the gun and clearing my browser history in preparation of my death, I just take a measure and see that everything's kind've elevated, so it makes sense that I feel like everything is kind of elevated, not hypertensive crisis. Then I thank my body for not shutting down by popping another adderall.

IMO what happens to me personally is I start feeling normal side effects then get worried which make it worse and the cycle starts so this nips it in the bud.

TL;DR: buy a bp monitor so you're not texting someone "never forget me, I love you" everytime your blood pressure or heart rate rises

also I know that heart rate/blood pressure aren't the only things that can turn you into an example shown by D.A.R.E , but it's the one I personally feel/worry about.
