Vyvanse 60mg to 120mg

Been taking 60mg Vyvanse a few times and it’s not really getting me where I want to (expect the first time of course). Would doubling the dose instantly be too much or could it be handled? Also thinking about taking one and emptying the other one into water that I could sip for an hour or so to make the hit a bit smoother.
