Post Body

i’ve been on adderall for about 3 years. when I was first prescribed I was given adderall xr, it worked great and would last all day. obviously after 3 years it’s not gonna be the same. for some time now i’ve been scripted a 30mg XR in the morning and a 15mg ir tablet in the afternoon. however it just doesn’t last long enough. the xr feels like it only lasts 4-5 hours now and the ir tablet feels like 60-90 minutes of stimulation, that’s it. I don’t necessarily want to raise my dose of adderall but that’s kinda what’s been happening. instead of taking my 15mg ir tablet in the afternoon I just end up taking another xr capsule. most of the time I don’t take the whole capsule i’ll just pour 3/4 of the beads into my hand then swallow. but now i’m almost out of xr caps and have a bunch of ir tablets left. I don’t wanna have to pop addy every 90 mins - 2 hours. shit just gets annoying. would switching to vyvanse help extend the stimulation at all? or is this just a matter of tolerance and needing to reset that? I just want this shit to last longer. anyone have any experience switching from adderall to vyvanse? if so how was the experience?
