so I've had a prescription for Adderall XR for about a year. My insurance doesn't cover it because they want me to do testing before they pay for it but fuck that. I've always gotten generic and it's $30 with GoodRX. I went in yesterday and they said they were out of generic but had name brand. I asked for the price and she told me it would be $220. I said hell nah then left, next day I came back because I said fuck it I'll pay It's only $200 for a few weeks of fun. Worth it! But there was a dude this time and he saw the price and said "WOW that's crazy please take a seat I'll see if I can do something about it" and 20 minutes later he called me up and said he was able to reduce it to $0. He explained a tiny bit of how he did it but I didn't understand at all. Anybody have any idea how he did this? Considering my insurance doesn't cover it.
Also am I alone in thinking generic is way better than Name Brand? Generic would lock me the fuck in and if I took too much I'd start tweaking, this just kind of feels like an energy drink. I took 60mg XR and could still eat an entire meal.
