mixing some concerta and adderall

i’ve been seeing things that say don’t mix them, or any other two kinds of stims. but i’m assuming they mean “don’t take a full dose of adderall then a full dose of concerta”. what if i’m taking 15mg of addy then 15mg of concerta to reach a normal dose of like 30mg? is that really worse than just taking, say, 30mg of just adderall, or 30mg of just concerta?
