will my psychiatrist be suspicious or stop prescribing me?

been with a psychiatrist who's been prescribing me adderall for a little less than a year. Decided I wanted a few months break from it and never called his office to schedule an appointment (which is the procedure every month to get the script). It's been about 4 months now, if I call and schedule an appointment would he have a reason to say that my break was suspicious or he can't trust me or something and not prescribe me adderall?
