I've spent a lot of time sober 12-step style & i think that stuff works cuz like communal healing / honesty / trying to live a moral life is good shit. i also think smoking meth & crack is great. i would really like to switch to legal treatment for my adhd but lack the capacity to moderate my use. i also would like to continute liesurely smoking crack every once i a while... but that is neither here nor there. the weekly binges need to stop. there is one community currently functioning for alcoholics learning to moderate called moderation management--the issue w/ this is that it's exclusive to alcohol, and stimulant use disorder moderation is an entirely different ballgame that alcoholics w/ their legal pass don't have to deal w/. finally-- i don't think such a community would necessarily have to be exclusive to stims, as many of us are polysubstance dabblers; as an NA original gal... i believe a drug is a drug... so like it would be nice to support other relapsed "addicts" who struggle more w/ weed, heroin, etc. i want something that doesn't judge one drug as any different or worse than another. the primary purpose needs to be harm reduction... reducing harm... and ultimately perhaps learning how to not harm oneself at all but just be a free happy hippy who occassional smokes meth if that's what they want to do.

additionally, I'm not a fan of the puritanical influences in the 12 steps & would like to update them, keep the traditions, and add some traditions to maintain anonymoty / safety / ensure sourcing never happens. does anyone have any ideas or thoughts on how i/ we could make this happen?
