I know a lot of people like me have health anxiety and can get especially spooked when they overdo it and their body starts to react. I can’t tell you how many hours I’ve spent scrolling looking for some confirmation I’m not going to die. I decided to write up a post about my experience to both see if this has happened to anyone else as well as I guess motivation not to do this.
I’ve done this a couple times, but yesterday was insane. I never got medical treatment so I can’t tell you if this is serious or not but I don’t see anyone talk about it here.
I consumed 30 20mg Adderall XR capsules in 7 days with 6 hours of sleep total, no food and pretty much just Red Bull to drink. I KNOW THIS IS THE STUPIDEST THING YOUVE PROBABLY EVERY HEARD, try to move past it.I pretty much exclusively play video games the entire time with like errands in between. The first three days are fantastic but eventually it started. It wasn’t just the comedown, taking more made it WORSE. Yesterday I had 120mg total
I already had your typical shit circulation (sometimes I get Raynaud’s) and rapid heart rate but that doesn’t really bother me anymore. My circulation got so bad my nail started to detach. Eventually my whole body started going hot and cold but like section by section. Spots on my skin would randomly turn red and get hot, other spots went cold with goosebumps. Eventually it turned into like 5 different kinds of pain. I had paresthesia EVERYWHERE especially in my arms back and torso. My clothes were burning and tingling at the same time. I had aches all over that felt like all the veins in my body were about to explode despite good blood pressure readings. Bending any limb would make pain appear somewhere else on my body. My head started to feel very full and one side of my face got very hot and turned red. It felt like I had fluid in my ears. Eventually I felt so numb I couldn’t even understands how I was moving anymore. Then I felt my heart do something I had never felt before. I took an ECG on my Apple watch and it went CRAZY but the watch didn’t recognize it as abnormal so I’m thinking it was a muscle cramp. Half of my body went numb so I laid in bed, closed my eyes and prayed to wake up. Luckily I did.
I’m still in pain today but it’s just what you’d expect. Again, I KNOW. There’s no reason I can give you other than I hate myself lmao
also: GO TO THE HOSPITAL IF YOU EXPERIENCE THIS. DONT BE LIKE ME.
