of the 2 i've tried, neither have a system for handling medication on backorder. they just cancel the rx and tell the patient to call back every day to check. obviously this is just going to be annoying and pointless work for both parties. do any pharmacies have a computerized system for handling medications on back order? they could make this information publicly available on their websites but i guess they just want more patients to be bothering more techs. also there's no guarantee the pharmacist won't just lie to you or tell you inaccurate information.
