I have a prescription for dextroamphetamine which is 10mg and just got bumped to 20mg. I really dont want to keep taking more to get the same effect as earlier and was interested in using Desoxyn/Methamphetamine to use as an alternative on some days. I asked my doc and she was kinda weirded out and asked if I wanted the street drug. I informed her that it was a proper FDA medication but she had never prescribed it and felt uncomfortable.

I do all of the above with insurance. Can i simply find a private psychiatrist to prescribe desoxyn or will it come back to my insurance psychiatrist? Has anybody got experience with desoxyn?

I have used ritalin, wellbuprion, stratera and had no success with them but I do great with dexedrine. I am all ears for other options too.

I have smoked crystal and it was overall a positive experience, where I got a lot of work done but was a little overwhelmed, however I have never been a fiend with stims and have had them in my possession without ever abusing them.
