For me, it's the whole subject of the bon fire.
There is this weird oral tightrope truthers attempt in which they don't generally say point blank there was no fire on the 31st because everyone from Steve to Zellner doesn't dispute it.
But also strongly hint that there was no fire? Because nobody mentioned it in their initial statements?
The end game of that argument is also confusing because at best If they admit there was a fire, then Steve lied about what he did that night.
From what I've seen, in the minds of truthers, Steve is the most honest person in Wisconsin and admitting a fire would sully that idea.
