Hey everyone,
My team and I are in the very early stages of starting our own audio equipment manufacturing and retail business. We’re mainly going to focus on two channel home stereo systems. I have some ideas on our selection of products at launch, and I’d like to bounce them off of some other audiofiles.
We’d like to initially offer the items listed below:
Bookshelf speaker set
Floor standing speakers
Subwoofer
A few different options for integrated amplifiers at different wattages (think 40,80,120)
30-50w tube amplifier
Other options we’re considering that are more marketable to the average consumer:
Sound bar
A portable speaker
Belt driven turntable
Powered computer speakers
Let me know if you guys think this is a reasonable initial product line. I’m interested to hear peoples thoughts on the “more marketable” items, and see if there are any good suggestions.
