So, as stated in the title, SS is special-needs to the point that DH needs to get guardianship, but hasn’t filed the paperwork yet. SS has a lot of mental health issues including a very bad aggression issue. This aggression has resulted in the fact that I had to have surgery on Monday, February 5 due to him getting into an altercation with me and my tearing of my rotator cuff and bicep up during it. DH did absolutely nothing about it. And now I’m sitting here in pain because of what he’s done and the fact that since DH doesn’t have guardianship if we put him in the hospital we have no way of controlling what he did or what type of treatment he gets DH and I have been together for 13 years going on 14 this year, it wasn’t until SS was about 12 years old that I realized he would never be able to leave. BM is not in the picture but pays her child support which is about 245 a month. The only time BM contacts us is to ask us to stop child support. She blew up his phone when Estes turned 18 because SS hasn’t graduated yet and she hast to pay until he graduates which is in May but technically he’s not done with school because he will be going to what’s called post high which is for special needs kids.
I’m frustrated that DH hasn’t filed the paperwork which I printed while I was working for him. He still drags his feet doing it. I am a full-time college student, but also work part-time at the school but that ends after this spring semester. So unfortunately, I’m stuck because I start at another school in the fall for my bachelors degree. I am hoping to get another job, but we only have one car and the jobs that work with my degree want me to have a car.
Any advice would be appreciated. I apologize for any dictation snafus as I am using dictation because I only have function and one side of my body right now due to the surgery.
