My husband got full legal and physical custody of his 12yo son. Mom lost custody due to addiction and honestly pure negligence and lack of common sense.

She had from August to February to make some kind of changes and decided not to. So child n youth services closed the case. She has no custody and while cny was involved she only had supervised visits (she didn’t show up to).

The only way bio mom will see him is if he goes to her house which we don’t allow …. He was taken out of that home because every one is basically on some kind of drugs and super irresponsible.

I know the obvious answer and just typing it I’m like oh why am I even asking because we would be stupid to send him there, right?!?! He’s hurting but we have to keep him safe. 😣
