I have a ps2 pad and a multi-console pad (until I secure a set of metal pads, hopefully) and I've been trying to get Stepmania to detect it. I have 2 adapters, a third-party one and a nyko one. The third party one with a switch in the back has the device name used in the few guides I read for software thats supposed to make it useable but it does not at all seem to detect input. the nyko adapter is detected by windows just as a USB device of course, and detects input with no other files or software (tested on smash bros in Dolphin lol) but I likely have to get the computer to somehow read it as a controller? JoyToKey doesnt detect a controller, unsurprisingly but I'm kind of at a loss.
Any suggestions?
