Posted this elsewhere, thought I would share it here.
So roughly 25 years after I originally started the first book, I completed The Dark Tower today. I did pretty good avoiding spoilers, although a few creeped through the cracks here and there. I am not really sure what I think of the ending, to be honest. As a whole, the story was amazing, but I admit there were parts here and there that I felt seemed very anticlimactic. Especially the final confrontation with The Crimson King. Needless to say, I am satisfied with being done with the series. Hopefully one day we can see a true cinematic adaptation of this tale that will do it justice, as opposed to the (in name only sequel) adaptation we got. I hope the constant readers that finished the Tower Cycle before me liked it as much as I did, and I completely recommend it to anyone interested in a good story. On to Cell for now.
