all these confession videos are overkill. stephs mukbang channel was the last place i thought i’d be listening to people’s boring experiences/confessions that have no place on a channel that was true crime for years. i feel like if you’re going to make such a huge change to your niche u should at least address it.

i know stephanie takes peoples opinions way more seriously than she should but man that memulous dude fucked it up for us lmao.

u can argue that she’s moved her true crime to spotify but it’s not the same. podcast stories are SUPER tame now compared to the stories she used to do so i don’t understand why she can’t do that on the channel.

lot of people say the mukbang/true crime combo left a bad taste in their mouth but i used to listen to them while doing chores or whatever just like i would listen to a podcast so maybe that’s where we differ. but i also used to properly watch them and was never bothered.

but i also get the feeling that she’s just not into gruesome stories as much as she used to be and is leaning to psychological thrillers more now. maybe it’s that she has nieces, or getting older changes u idk. with that in mind i guess it’s ok that she’s outgrown it.

all that being said the one good thing to come out of all this is her book which i will absolutely be reading so cheers to that
