If I'm asking an old question, please forgive me and direct me to the post about it...

Scenario: between my trade capitol and another starbase set up as a trade hub (say 10 jumps distance), I might have a starbase upgraded 1X in a black hole area just to have the monitoring station. My trade will run from the SB trade hub, over to the Black Hole SB, and then to my capitol. Now, as an added twist, the Black Hole SB is NOT in a direct line from trade hub to capitol. In fact, it'll add an extra 2 to 3 jumps distance. WWHHYYY?? I do not have anything on the Black Hole SB that would attract any trade of any kind. I've tried to reroute the trade directly from hub to capitol, but it keeps going for the other SB no matter what I do. My only other option is to fully upgrade the Black Hole SB to include trade hubs and protection since it's going there anyway. Any thoughts I might could try?
