Alrighty so I'm playing a solo ironman 'suffer not the xenos' run and I need to be purging the aliens I have set as non-citizens. I've left the galactic community, I'm my own empire with subjugated vassals, and I have purges in my policies set to 'Displacement Only'.
My empire isn't Xenophobe (I picked Fanatic Militarists and Authoritarian as my starting ethics and havent had a faction appear that leans heavy into the Xenophobe ethic, which is a shame and a correction to be made for my next game), and I have Xenophilia suppressed.
Despite all this, whenever I go into my Species tab I am unable to set any species to Undesirable, the game citing 'Purging of non-robots is outlawed'. I'm at my wits end here trying to find a solution as it appears more people have peoblems with accidentally purging aliens they don't want purged rather than being unable to purge. Does anyone have advice on what I need to do or what I've missed so I can get on with the purge?
