How to "Blank" a steelbook

I noticed they don't sell blank steelbooks.
okay.
so the next best thing is to buy old unwanted steelbooks for £1 and Blank them myself.
How would I do that? As in, remove the paint/printing from the steelbooks so that they are bare steel?
