I've had a physical steam link for a few years now and love it. Constantly use it to steam my desktop and play videos.

But I've noticed more and more lately that the quality doesn't look great on my 4k tv. Lots of artifacts pretty regularly. For reference, I'm using an Ethernet connection, and the monitor on my PC is still only 1080p despite being capable of 4k.

Been looking into getting a new piece of hardware to support higher quality, but see lots of different opinions.

Nvidia Shield upgrading my PC monitor to 4k is the most foolproof option, but seems really expensive for what I need. Which is effectively just streaming my desktop.

What have you found to work best for you?
