Hello, I have a PC currently next to my tv in my front room to play rocket league with my roommates. I want my pc back in my bedroom so I can play other games without taking up space in the front room.
Here is an absolutely awful drawing of my apartment layout. As the apartment is rather long, we have two wifi routers set up (#1 in front room where the internet comes into the apartment, and #2 in the middle room connected by an ethernet cable to #1).
If I have my computer wired into router #2, which is wired to router #1, and the steam link wired to router #1 (basically one long line of ethernet) will this work the same as a traditional wired setup?
Will I have to deal with high latency on the steam link?
The wifi routers are just far enough from each other that the PC in my bedroom would have awful internet if connected to router #1's network, and vice versa for the front room.
I also have the 360 wifi controller dongle connected to my PC currently and would be plugging it into the link instead.
