Issues running Duckstation for PS1 on Emudeck

So I verified that the bios was properly loaded and installed and that my rom files are both .cue and .bin

When I go to launch a PS1 game, duckstation will look like it’s loading but then black out and go back to the menu. When I have the game launched out of another emulator (retro arch with something like the mednafen or beetle plugin), it’ll run just fine. I’ve constantly heard that duckstation is the best emulator but of course it’s the one that’s not working. What should I do? Any help would be appreciated.
