On day one out of the box, as soon as I figured out how to get to the desktop, I ran the commands to unlock the system and install apps over pacman. I installed sshserver and use sshfs to interface with the data on my NAS. It works pretty dope and means I wouldn't need to upgrade my internal storage and still gets all meh iso's and game-files in local-network storage and runs the files as if they were in the OS as desired.
I noticed today during an extended download that the download over wireless would cut down and noticed warmth in a certain spot - will analyze a diagram as soon as I get the time to again to understand what device it could had been (I am thinking the wifi chip cuz that would had been the only thing truly buzzing during that process. (I could had done that right now but reddit stuff)). But wondering if wifi "stuttering" can be experienced.
Over all, worth the wait :D
I would had been happy to shell out for a sturdier shell but maybe after market products will solve this and now I am wondering if an external sling could exist - a sling design that maybe just encases the deck and mayhaps has ventilation to permit the deck to run while on the person, hands free. Overall its the coolest linux device I now have the pleasure of owning. Am a daily Debian dweeb myself but arch wasn't too hard to dive into. The power on this thing and portability is so exciting.
