On my second (soon to be ) RMA. Got my first SD last fall 3 months in had the problem where I couldn’t even turn it on without it powering down. Unplugged it, power down. Woke up this morning to the same issue smh. Owned both decks approx 3 mo each. Tried all the gimmicks from both online and previous RMA with no luck then I came across a post where people had some luck re seating battery cable. After quickly confirming opening the deck wouldn’t void my warranties ( on a side note I discovered that in the US stickers or labels that say void if removed are in fact illegal and therefore do not apply 🧐) When I got to the battery I discovered it was a little “melty” as seen in pic. So I’m guessing i will have to RMA. Just thought I’d share as this seems to be a problem with a few decks, cheers 🍻

TLDR; if your deck will onl stay on while plugged in and battery health is 100% you could have a melted cord to your battery
