So I've been harassed by this bug that makes it so that any time I launch a game, I can't just go on to controlling it. Instead I have to fiddle with the controller settings every time, and sometimes the combination has to be just right in order to play with the controller I launched with.

For example, let's say I have 3 controllers connected. I boot the game, it doesn't see any controller input (like usual), so I go into controller settings and change it to look like this, where X is the controller that I'm trying to use.

To this...

Y

X

Z

But sometimes even that won't work and I'll have to find a combination of XYZ like ZYX or YXZ until it finally works.

Anyone else dealing with this? It becomes quite an infuriating bug after a hundred or so game launches.
