Maybe because I'm technically inclined, maybe because and I do not trust on principle automagic systems, I feel that Steam Cloud is... obscure to say the least. I haven't really used it in weird situations up until a recent trip, and... I don't understand what happens.

So, we got my deck in a trip with wifi off because why bother and two things happening: A few achivements being unlocked on some games (Rez, West of Dead, the Holowhatever Vampire survivors clone) a few missions re-flown in Project: Wingman so I could get cash to buy the Harrier and a level completed on Rez. When I came back home, I connected the deck to the Wifi (hoping that everything would auto sync), then to the docking and to the LAN. Take into account that here the main point are the saves, as the achievements meh, but hey, I like to understand what happens.

On one hand, the achievements did not "updated" until I... got into the game's page in the deck? I don't really know what I did, but now some of these achievements appear as if I had unlocked them today.

On the other hand, the saves for Project:Wingman didn't synced no matter how many times I clicked on "re-sync." Then I launched P:W in my desktop and I didn't had the Harrier unlocked. Then magically the saves synced (I thought they were overwritten by the Desktop) and the Harrier was again unlocked.

As a bonus, for some reason, I completed Uranus level on Rez and the saves are synced, the activity view don't show the achievement on desktop, but it is unlocked on the game's profile.

So, I guess my question here is, what's going on? What's the good way (if there's one) to make everything sync when the deck is not connected? Do I have to use offline mode then when it goes to online mode everything works magically? Am I better off using scripts? Thanks!
