Something weird started happening. I was getting double inputs on the main menu for Halo infinite which basically didn't allow me to do anything on the menu. I'm using Xbox controller. I tried USB Wired, Bluetooth and USB dongle. Same behavior across all 3.
After tons of trial and error, I realized that if I play a game through Xbox App (Gamepass), if STEAM is Open or I have Xbox Controller support checked, it messes up the inputs for the game.
If I turn Steam OFF or Remove Steam Xbox controller support, everything is back to normal. Does anyone know why randomly I would be getting double inputs when Steam is open? I'm pretty sure I've played before leaving steam open.
I just have no idea how to get around this. Easiest solution is to turn Steam Off when playing an Xbox game, but I don't think that should be the norm. I would think everyone would had this problem by now.
If I play a game on steam, no issues either with the controller. So I basically narrowed the problem down to playing Xbox App games and Steam is open. Thanks
