I thought one of the biggest marketing points of the Steam controller was that you can plug and play any game with it.
However, when I tried to test that with games from GOG (Shovel Knight and Enter the Gungeon) I couldn't just play using the Steam Controller. Instead I had to add the games to my Steam library (add nonSteam game to library) and find community controls for them through Steam.
Can I not just use the Steam Controller as a regular controller for Non Steam games?
Or am I just a dumbass who is messing up somewhere?
