I was playing with a friend with both of my controllers, which I have been using well for years, but suddenly they both disconnected. I tried to restart them, but they wouldn't connect.
I have tried re-pairing them, I have tried other USB cables, I have tried directly plugging in the dongle to the usb port on my pc instead of via the cable, I have tried running the updates found here again: https://steamcommunity.com/app/353370/discussions/1/6516193260178656983/?ctp=7
but still It won't connect my controllers unless I connect the wire to the controller itself.
I have also tried using BLE to connect, but that has my inputs garbled, with the left stick triggering about a million different random inputs, mouse movements and keypresses in a fraction of a second.
I have tried updating steam to the beta, I have tried reverting this.
No matter what I do, the dongle doesn't seem to work anymore :(
I often get a windows popup saying the USB device was not recognised.
