Is there a way to force steam to download the Windows version of a game on Linux?

Valheim is a great game, and it has a native Linux client (yay) however, it has issues right now. Super early access, no hate towards them. I know the windows version works pretty well for what it is right now on the same machine, so I was wondering if I could download the Windows version somehow through steam, and run it with either Proton, or Wine or some other emulation?
