I had an old ATM Visa Card with my current bank and had been using it for over a year now. Recently my bank issued new ATM Visa Cards equipped with the EMV Chip so I had to surrender my old card for a new and better one. New card = new card number and security pin. So, I login to STEAM to update the information on my STEAM wallet since it's using the old card number and old security pin. It worked successfully. Suddenly, I get an SMS notification and email from my bank saying that Valve took $1.00 USD. So I checked my Online Banking and true enough it was there. I did not know there was a surcharge for just updating my payment method. Some clarity on this matter would be nice.
