Steam should have separate reviews for developers, to prevent good games from receiving negative reviews just because of shitty DLC policy

Post Body

I noticed this a lot with certain games, for example Total War games, or games developed by Paradox Interactive.

In most of these cases the base games are fine, and absolutely deserve a positive review score. However because of the behaviour of the game's developers, some users tend to give negative reviews just to "punish" the devs for what they consider a shady business model.

Sometimes a game can even receive negative reviews for totally unrelated reasons. For example the previous game made by the developers turned out to be a disappointment, and even though their current game is absolutely great, some players may be angered by their past mistakes and take revenge in the form of giving a negative review to all of their games.

In my opinion this could be prevented by having separate review scores for developers and their games. In this way the community could express their anger by downvoting the developers, while not affecting the score of otherwise great games. Obviously the review score of the developer team should be just as visible as the actual review score of the game, to inform would be buyers about what kind of support they can expect from the makers of the game.
