First time set up every time I launch a game.

I have just gotten XCOM the past day and every time I launch the game I keep getting a first time set up for VCredist (have played it more than once). It isn't a quick set up either, takes 10-15 minutes every time, anyone else experience this with other games and have a fix?. Please help. Also sorry if this has already been asked. Thanks.
