This morning I was playing Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Phantoms on Steam. I was using the NA version of the game, as I'm in the United States. I went to help some family members move some furniture and when I came back, I was unable to access the NA version of the game. It is still on my disk, and still shows up in my library, but the "Play" button has turned into the "Install" button, and when I click it, it says it's unavailable in my region. I can access the EU version of the game, for some reason.
I attempted to use Hotspot Shield to trick it, but it has the same problem, which is really weird, since Hotspot Shield changes my location two states over.
I've restarted Steam multiple times, and I've restarted my computer multiple times, nothing changes
Why is it having this problem now?
edit: I've moved the game files completely, and my library still contains the game, which it shouldn't, because it's a F2P game.
edit: I've reinstalled Steam, which includes deleting all games from my drive, and THE GAME IS STILL IN MY LIBRARY and won't let me install.
edit: apparently, it's my account specifically, which is weird. I logged onto my brother's account from my computer, and I was able to download and launch the game. When I tried to launch it from my account, it wouldn't launch, with the same errors as from above.
