Hey guys, I got a problem. I tried using the -tcp option, to delete files/folders, to unistall and install, to repair, and none work.
I got a laptop, with Windows 8 64 bit on it. I can successfully log into internet explorer and other browsers but I cannot log in into the pc platform. It says "Steam could not connect to the Steam servers."
I don't really know what to do. I flushed DNS, tried cmd commands, and none work!
I don't have any weird programs installed or antivirus/firewall. Only office, spotify, and a few more programs that are a must need. Also, I disabled all internet security, windows defender, windows firewall, added exceptions in inbound and outbound connections in my windows firewall for Steam. Also put up low security from Control Panel Internet options and it still doesn't work.
I restarted countless of times and I really don't know why it doesn't work.
I do not use a router, it's straight from cable. Please help!
