Long story short, I'm looking to get into RPGs that are deeper than just say Skyrim. I want to start getting into RPGs that draw influence from say dungeons and dragons. I want to get Baldur's Gate 3, but I'm waiting for that to go on sale. In the mean time, I saw Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is currently 75% on steam and it looks pretty good from what I can tell. Is it worth playing? Is it fun? Is it where you have so many character choices that you spend like an hour customizing your character before actually playing? I've been interested in getting into really deep RPGs for a while, and I'm finally ready to take the dive. Is this a good one to start with?
