Best way to rebuild a dying community without restarting. I’m on my first run through and I’m using non tutorial characters. Our team has quickly faced serious adversity on nightmare mode.

On day one Deon, Calvin, and the med guy setup camp, that same day a juggernaut crashed the gates and ripped computer guy Calvin in half(a big blow given he was at full health and stam, and the others needed rest) this put us in a tricky situation, who should make our run for the survivors. The Unbreakable Deon has been up for so long he had no stamina, where as the medic had suffered multiple blows but had full stam. I took the risk of taking the med guy, and with stealth mode and behind the back kills things were okay. Until they weren’t, he was rushed and infected and didn’t make it back to the camp... well he did but dion had to but ol dawg down. Leaving Deon as the only survivor of the community that has no plague cure, but luckily fully recovered.

For some reason I don’t want to give up on this camp and looking for the best way to solo rebuild the community. Rn I’m thinking I should set up shop at the coffee shop to prevent tiredness striking again and then either push for materials or recruit a survivor as I tried to do when Conputer guy Calvin died.

Far as equipment, basically nothing. Lol I have a couple melee weps and food/Medkits. No car no cure.

What is the best way to bring the camp back to life?
