Chan sat silently, mediating in his room on the Dulon as the massive Jedi ship gently crept through the galaxy. He was between missions, and as he often did during his quiet time, he preferred to relax his mind and focus on the force rather than practice with his lightsaber. Several items floated around his gingery hair as he sat with his eyes closed, practicing his telekinesis as he felt the flow of energy around him. But suddenly, a dark feeling began to consume him.

The items around his dropped to the floor as Chahn felt a disturbance in the force. He could hear screams and laser blasts, countless souls disappearing in an instant. The massive loss of life pained the Jedi Knight who so desperately cared to maintain and cherish life of all shapes and kinds. He was a kind soul, believing that even the most misguided souls, who had done the most evil of deeds, were worthy of redemption.

“R4, it seems we’ve got some work to do...” he spoke softly and sadly as he slowly opened his eyes.

beep boop do doop

Chahn’s trusty astromech droid replied in a cheery tone, as he always did, despite the circumstances. The Jedi by R4’s side quickly rose to his feet, pulled his primary lightsaber to his hand and walked out of the room, eager to see what was going on in this galaxy he had sworn to protect.
