A man middle-aged men dressed in the clothes of an Imperial bureaucrat sneaked down a hallway. He ducked through a maintenance passageway before exiting into the grey metal walls of an Imperial base. Searchlights scattered across numerous towers shone down upon the ground. Light reflected off rainwater as it streamed down the duracrete and durasteel walls. He did his best to avoid making too much noise as a patrol walked by. He ducked behind a pillar and slinked over to an access panel where tapped in the passcode he was given. The door slid open and hissed. The hum of a probe droid was heard overhead and he quickly dived behind the door frame. As he walked down the black hallways with its metal grate floor creaking as he moved he saw his prize, a single console lay in this section of the facility. He walked up to it and inserted the access key the resistance had given him.

He searched through the archives, he had at his job in the Ministry processed numerous prisoner transfer forms heading to various facilities. He cross-referenced a recent prison transport from Jerne to Raydonia, apparently the Ministry of Science had a facility on the planet, according to the records it was the Imperial Chemical Research Facility 87N. The facility despite registered to the Ministry of Science had a large amount of military personnel. He attempted to access information on the projects underway in the facility but was alerted that his clearance was insufficient. He pulled out the datapad he had tucked into his now soaking wet uniform. Pulling up the password he was given by the defector he managed to access restricted files.
