Test ETHERNET ADAPTER

I have my ethernet adapter connected to my switch, but the switch isn't lighting up showing that data is running through it. I check my ethernet cables and they are all good. It did work in the past, before i cut the cable outside with a lawnmower. I order a replacement cable and connected it and now my adapter isn't working. I'm trying to run my google mesh network along with an extender.

How can I test to see if the adapter is working? I'm also trying to find support from starlink, but can't find that either.
